Overview

DuckRead is a focus-friendly reading app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can contact us.

Information we collect

We may collect your account email, authentication status, subscription status, saved reading sessions, Duck Check results, settings, and basic app events such as onboarding, paywall views, reading starts, and Duck Check completions.

Text you add to DuckRead

If you paste text into DuckRead, that text may be stored with your reading session so you can continue reading and view history. When you use AI features, relevant text and your explanation may be sent to our backend and AI provider so DuckRead can generate feedback.

Payments

Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. DuckRead does not store your full payment card details.

Service providers

DuckRead may use Supabase for authentication and database storage, RevenueCat for subscription status, and AI providers through backend functions for Duck Check and simplification features.

Your choices

You can update your email, change your password, delete reading history, or delete your account from the app settings. You can also contact us at support@duckread.com.
